Our favorite bird to watch here in the islands of Tahiti is the White Tern, also known as a Fairy Tern or “itata’e” in Tahitian

We get asked this question frequently, and it is not always easy to answer because it truly feels like “summer”time all year round!

The famous breadfruit trees (known as Uru in Tahitian) are seen growing plentifully throughout the islands of Tahiti.

In accordance with measures in place to stop the spread of COVID-19 in French Polynesia, international travel is currently suspended (since March 18, 2020) until further notice.French Polynesia has been spared the devastation that so many other countries face during this time.

Like everyone, we are watching and processing the immense effects the COVID-19 pandemic is bringing upon the world. We are safe, healthy and feel extremely fortunate to be experiencing quarantine on our home island Tahaa.

You will often have the opportunity to see Blacktip Reef sharks in the shallow, lagoon waters of French Polynesia.   These elusive creatures are so beautiful, and look just like their name suggests. They are easy to spot and identify, as they have a “black tip” on their fins.

Arrive onboard and leave the worries and hassles of travel details behind. Our customized itineraries allow guests to experience and explore 3 to 4 islands during their time aboard, without ever having to pack or unpack another bag!

Huahine holds a special place in our hearts.   Just five years ago, at the last minute, we were invited to sail from Bora Bora to Huahine.

We have always been drawn to the lesser-known islands of French Polynesia.  Going off the beaten track has always been more of our vibe. But, we have to say…every time we arrive in Bora Bora, we are always astounded by the beauty, and the tangible magic that seems to exist on this famous little speck of an island.
